There's a lot of good stuff in the Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning trailer. We are probably in the franchise's endgame now, but let's not send our horses running that way; you might not have noticed the details that went in there. From the Entity to Ospreys, there are things that, when you look closely, will make you go wow.
Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning will be hitting the theaters on May 23, 2025, just a day after the first film was released in the same month. You bet, there's a nod to that in the trailer. Christopher McQuarrie, who is directing, made sure to add those little details if we are finally kissing Ethan Hunt's story goodbye.
But rest assured, that trailer has got everything to get you on your toes. This is likely going to be the best film in the franchise. After all, the news is they've spent a healthy sum on the film. Like $400 million healthy. Now let's see what the trailer has in store for us.
6. We finally get to 'see' the Entity in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning

The Entity was introduced in Mission: Impossible - The Dead Reckoning, which has gone sentient and rogue. It seems like it can be accessed via this mask-like device, which, as soon as Ethan wears it, gives us (and probably him) these flashbacks, including a dying Benji, a St. Matthew Island on a map, and more. St. Matthew Island is actually an uninhabited, remote island. There's certainly a secret hidden, by the looks of it.
5. The Truth about the Kremlin's bombing
The most shocking thing to come out of the Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning trailer was that the Kremlin bombing was meant to kill Ethan, which means that the IMF was indeed involved in this, a fact that was deemed a misunderstanding in Ghost Protocol.
4. The government is afraid of Ethan Hunt

When Ethan is brought in for a meeting with the government officials during the Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning trailer, we see him in handcuffs. That's because they already know how lethal this agent can be, especially when they realize he gassed a security briefing in The Dead Reckoning.
3. Mission: Impossible finally brings in Ospreys

By the looks of this scene, we have to say that Mission: Impossible is also doubling down on military stuff. While the past films have featured helicopters and passenger planes before, they never brought an Osprey into the equation. Maybe because they didn't need to. An Osprey is designed for military transport and cargo, and another franchise that made use of this beast, for that matter, would be Transformers.
2. And fighter jets

While this could've been a part of the above detail, we had to keep it separate because that moment in the trailer is giving us proper Top Gun vibes. We see a couple of jets flying by the screen in quick succession. You will notice the speed when you see them. Let's hope we get to see Tom Cruise in a fighter jet in Mission: Impossible, too.
1. A nod to Mission: Impossible

And finally, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning gives a nod to the first film that began Ethan's journey. A couple. We first see the date "May 22, 1996" written on an envelope, and then we see the date written in a different format, like this: 5/22/1996. But there's "STILL ALIVE - HAVE FAITH" written just above that. Does that mean this isn't the end of this journey? It'll send a wave of happiness among the fans if true.
