Metallica 2025 M72 World Tour North America is scheduled to be held from April 12, 2025, to June 29, 2025, in venues across the United States and Canada. The tour is the latest edition of their M72 tour and will be preceded by the band's 2024 tour dates.
The presale for the tour starts on September 23, 2024, with a Fifth Member fan club exclusive tour presale. A Live Nation presale will be available from September 26, 2024, and can be accessed with the code SETLIST.
General tickets will be made available to the public on September 27, 2024, at 10:00 am local time. Presales and tickets can be accessed via the band's official website or Ticketmaster.
The band announced the new tour via a post on their official Instagram page on September 19, 2024.

The upcoming tour will feature support from Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies as well as Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills. This will be the first time since 2003 that Metallica and Limp Bizkit will tour together.
As mentioned above, the upcoming 2025 tour will be preceded by a few 2024 show dates. The dates and venues for these 2024 shows are as follows:

Metallica released their latest studio album 72 Seasons on April 14, 2023. The album has been a major success since its release, becoming a chart-topper on several album charts, including the UK, Swiss, and Kiwi album charts, and peaking at the number 2 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart.
The album is Metallica's eleventh studio album and their first album since 2016's Hardwired... to Self-Destruct. 72 Seasons is the second full-length album to be released by the band's label Blackened Recordings.
