MCU finally will be able to match Superman's powers as Thunderbolts* is set to bring Sentry to the big screen - Marvel's one of the mightiest superheroes. As read in the comics, Sentry is known to be incredible in terms of power and control thus, making him one of the most formidable mutants.
The real name of the character is Robert 'Bob' Reynolds who has been previously portrayed in The Sentry (2000) authored by Paul Jenkins. The superhuman is a mysterious being whose story is rooted in tragedy. Robert becomes a powerful mutant after drinking a serum that makes him equivalent to the might of millions of suns put together.
Thunderbolts* is set for a theatrical release on May 2, 2025, in the United States. The MCU film has been produced by Kevin Feige along with helmer Jake Schreier. The official synopsis of the movie reads:
"A group of supervillains are recruited to go on missions for the government."

What are Sentry's powers as expected to be seen in Thunderbolts*?
Lewis Pullman will play the role of Sentry in the upcoming Marvel movie Thunderbolts*. Sentry is considered to be one of the most powerful and formidable superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His introduction in the MCU timeline is reportedly considered as an answer to DC's Superman.
The comparison kind of makes sense as Superman is already famous for his unparalleled superhuman abilities. Now, the MCU has brought someone who can also exercise control and power in a very similar way. Sentry is known to lift enormous objects without any trouble.
He can fly at incredible speeds (similar to Superman), and is also invulnerable to almost everything - bullets, physical attacks, and even extreme heat. Sentry can regenerate and recover easily. He also absorbs and emits energy, and can project it in devastating forms. Telekinesis is another ability that Sentry possesses.
All these abilities put together make Sentry a difficult match for someone as powerful as Superman himself. However, there is a dark side within him - the Void, which beholds his deepest fears and darkest thoughts. It is so powerful that sometimes it can become a threat to Sentry himself. His character has a touch of mystery owing to the duality. However, his strong physique, impervious body, great flying speed, and regenerative abilities make him a mighty superhero.
Can Sentry outpower The Avengers?
The kind of strength Sentry possesses can overpower any superhero from the original Avengers. Captain America, despite his Super Soldier Serum-induced abilities, will not be able to stop the newest Marvel mutant.
On the other hand, the most powerful Avengers Hulk will also have to put up his best fight to survive a duel with Sentry (as already seen in the comics). Tony Stark aka Iron Man is human nonetheless but his superpower suits and armored body would anyway struggle against MCU's walking nuclear reactor.
Moreover, Black Widow and Hawkeye will not be able to put up against Sentry for long (despite their combat skills) as they are very much human to the core. So, the final option left is Thor, the God of Thunder. His strength and durability possibly make him the closest match to Sentry. However, Sentry's inner devil, The Void, can easily outrun the Avenger God. Thus, we finally have a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who can potentially go face-to-face against DC's Superman. The fight, however, seems quite close.
