Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, have arrived in the US after their travel ban was lifted. This latest development follows the approval of their "request to travel" by prosecutors in Romania. Although they are permitted to leave Romania, both will remain under strict surveillance, according to representatives of the Romanian law enforcement agency, DIICOT.

"The defendants have been warned that deliberately violating these obligations may result in judicial control being replaced with a stricter deprivation-of-liberty measure." read the statement from the Romanian anti-traficking organization.

The duo landed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at 11 a.m. local time, where Andrew Tate gave a brief statement proclaiming their innocence. He said:

"We live in a democratic society where it’s innocent until proven guilty,” he pointed.

He also added:

"I think my brother and I are largely misunderstood. There’s a lot of opinions about us, things that go around about us on the internet. We’ve yet to be convicted of any crime in our lives ever. We have no criminal record anywhere on the planet".

According to reports, along with the removal of the travel ban, the courts have also approved the request to lift the seizure of assets belonging to the Tate brothers. Their representative said in a statement:

The assets include six luxury vehicles, land and properties, and company shares. All previously frozen bank accounts have been unfrozen. While some assets remain under precautionary seizure, this ruling marks a significant step toward justice" said Mateea Petrescu.

Their arrival in the US has not been welcomed by many, with DeSantis assuring that strict action will be taken against them if needed.

"No, Florida is not a place where you’re welcome with that type of conduct. Florida is not a place where you're welcome with that type of conduct," the governor said.

DeSantis also added that the Attorney General, James Uthmeier, is actively looking into the matter.

"Our Attorney General, James Uthmeier, is looking into what state hooks and jurisdictions we have to deal with this. I don't know how it came to this. We were not involved. We were not notified. I found out through the media."
"Early this morning, I directed my office to work with our state law enforcement partners to conduct a preliminary inquiry into these individuals. said Uthmeier.

He further added:

Florida has zero tolerance for human trafficking and violence against women. If any of these alleged crimes trigger Florida jurisdiction, we will hold them accountable." said James Uthmeier, the Attorney General of Florida, appointed by Republican Governor, Ron DeSantis, just a weak ago.

A few days before their travel ban was lifted, Andrew Tate made a post on X (formerly Twitter):

"The Tates will be free, Trump is the president. The good old days are back. And they will be better than ever. Hold on.”

According to a BBC report, someone in the Trump administration requested the Romanian Foreign Minister, Emil Hurezeanu, to lift their travel ban.

What is Andrew Tate and his brother accused of?

In 2023, the self-described misogynist Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were accused of r*pe, human trafficking, and forming an alleged criminal group involved in exploiting women.

Both brothers have consistently denied the allegations and maintained their innocence. They were placed under house arrest last year. Despite the charges against them, their case is yet to go to trial due to legal and procedural complications.

Apart from these charges, the brothers, who hold dual US-British citizenship, also face separate charges in the UK. Four women from the UK have filed cases against them, citing s**ual violence and physical assault.
