Laneway Festival 2025 is scheduled to be held from February 6, 2025 to February 16, 2025 in venues across the cities of Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth.

The 2025 festival will be the 20th edition of the festival, having been first held in 2004 and annually ever since, except for the 2021 edition, which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Presale for the festival starts on October 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m local time. Registration for said presale is currently ongoing and can be accessed via the official Laylo page of the festival.

The venues for Laneway Festival, officially known as the St. Jerome's Laneway Festival is listed below:

The festival in all cities are restricted to 16+, with the terms of conditions stating:

"The Event is 16+. ALL patrons must present valid Accepted ID to gain entry into the Event Site. The Promoter reserves the right to evict, or deny entry, to any persons unable to provide valid proof of age ID or any persons engaging in illegal activities (for 16 and 17 years olds, this includes trying to purchase or consuming alcohol at the event)."

The acceptable list of ID varies by each city but the common list of Photo ID include:

  • Australia or New Zealand passport
  • Australia or New Zealand driver's license or learner's permit (with photo)
  • Foreign Drivers Licence (English language or if not in the English language, must be accompanied by an official English translation e.g. by any NAATI accredited translator) or an International Driving Permit
  • Passport from any country (either current or expired less than 2 years ago and has not been cancelled)
  • KEYPASS Photo ID Card or equivalent Proof of Age Card
  • Australian/New Zealand Birth Certificate (certified copy is okay) PLUS a Current Photo ID (eg student card). We must be able to verify both your age and your photo ID, we cannot accept one without the other.

Laneway festival has previously featured artists such as Yo La Tengo, Dominic Fike, Okkervil River, and Tame Impala, as well as Dominic Fike and more. Laneway festival has previously been held in Singapore as well.
