As per CelebrityNetWorth, Kodak Black is estimated to have a fortune of $5 million derived from his music and other projects at the time of writing this article. Despite the fortune, the singer was recently spotted eating chicken in the middle of the street in a viral social media post, sparking concerns across the internet, as exemplified in the reaction quoted below:

"Help him !!! What ever he’s on . I hope someone help him come over this journey he’s taken." one netizen stated.

The video of Kodak Black eating on the street comes a little while after Kodak Black allegedly streamed under the influence of unknown substances while eating a bowl of cereal earlier this year.

Kodak Black's fortune comes from his music

Kodak Black's fortune comes from his music. The singer started off his music career with some mixtapes from the years 2013 to 2017, before releasing his debut album Painting Pictures, on March 31, 2017. The album was highly successful and eventually became a platinum-certified hit.

This was followed by his mixtape Project Baby 2 in August 2017, which also became a platinum-certified record. In February 2018, Kodak Black released the now gold-certified record Heart Break Kodak. His second studio album, Dying to Live, was released on December 14, 2018, and also became a platinum hit after its release.

Aside from these, the singer also has platinum-certified songs, such as No Flockin', Skrt, Tunnel Vision, Horses, and many more. He has also collaborated with the likes of French Montana, Boogie wit da Hoodie, and more on hit singles.

With the RIAA certification system scoring platinum records at a million records sold, and the industry value of a platinum record ranging upwards of $500,000, Kodak Black's records remain the primary source for his $5 million fortune.

Alongside his music catalog, Black also has two properties, as per Celebsuburb, one his home in Hollywood, Florida which cost $557,000 in 2018 (approximately $713,082.64 in today's currency), and a 0.7-acre property he bought in Pompano Beach, Florida for $1.8 million (approximately $1,914,065.84 in today's currency)

Since the release of the street video, Kanye West has come forward to state that he is flying to Miami to help Black, with the rapper suggesting Black wearing a Donda chain was the sign of a call for him to go out and help Black.
