Kaiser Chiefs "Employment' 20th anniversary show is set to be held on May 31, 2025 at the Temple Newsam Park in Leeds, UK. The show will feature the band Razorlight, who are also celebrating the anniversary of their debut album.
Also present as supporting acts will be The Cribs, Hot Wax and Ellur as well as The Coral and We Are Scientists. The latter will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their major label debut.
Presale for the tour will be available from October 10, 2024 at 09:00 am local time. In order to get access to said presale, interested patrons will need to register via gigsandtours.com.
Kaiser Chiefs announced the new show via a post on their official Instagram page on October 3, 2024:
"LEEDS! We are so excited to announce we will be performing at @templenewsam on 31st May 2025 to celebrate 20 Years of Employment! We’ll be performing the album in full plus the hits."

Kaiser Chiefs elaborated on the show in a press statement on October 1, 2024, stating:
"We very excited to announce our biggest Leeds gig ever. Twenty years since ‘Employment’ and twenty-three years since we last played at Temple Newsam, we are delighted to be back. Last time we played there (in Parva) we joked we were on after Guns n Roses who had played the previous night so it’s been a long wait to finally actually headline the Park."

"We are a band that historically always looked forwards but after 20 years of people telling us how important Employment is to them and how it soundtracked people’s lives, we felt we had to organise a celebration."

Kaiser Chiefs released their debut album, Employment, on March 7, 2005. The album ranked at number 2 on the UK album chart as well as the Irish and Scottish album charts, respectively. Kaiser Chiefs is best known for their debut album, with multi-platinum certifications in the UK as well in the IFPI EU region, and Ireland.
Talking about other bands that will feature on the anniversary show, Razorlight, released their debut album, Up All Night, on June 28, 2024. The album was released by Vertigo and ranked at number 3 on the UK album chart as well as at number 4 on the Scottish album chart.
Meanwhile, The Cribs will celebrate their major label debut, The New Fellas, released on July 1, 2005. The album was released by Wichita and ranked at number 20 on the UK album chart. The album also received a silver certification in the UK.
New York based rock band, We Are Scientists are celebrating their debut album, With Love and Squalor. The album was released on October 17, 2005. The album charted at number 43 on the UK album chart as well as at number 51 on the Scottish album chart. The album gained a gold certification in the UK.
Kaiser Chiefs released their last studio album, Kaiser Chiefs' Easy Eighth Album, on March 1, 2024. The album was released by the label V2 and charted at number 6 on the UK album chart.
