Jon Pardi has confirmed that he will release another album in 2025. The singer released the first song from the album, Friday Night Heartbreaker, earlier this year. The singer elaborated on the upcoming still untitled album in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Focus on October 2, 2024:
"I don't want to get into it too much because of what I can and can't say! (laughing) It's an election year here and every headline you see is about that so we're waiting to get that over with and then we'll start talking about the new album next year when it's all over, done and gone and there can be some attention back on other things!"
The singer continued:
"Hell, it's already October and you know what's coming next? Christmas! So the window for new music is closing and gone so I'm hoping to release the album in March. It's all done and it's amazing, we love it. I can't wait for people to hear it."
Jon Pardi later stated that the album will have 17 tracks:
"No but there are 17 on there. It takes an hour to listen to, which I think is just about right, you don't need any more than that. It's a good flow, 17 songs."
He stated that he liked albums that contain 14 to 18 tracks:
"I tend to like albums between 14 and 18 songs in length which tends to come in at around an hour's listening time. Over 20 and you can't listen to the album in one sitting a lot of the time and the songs can get a little similar."
Jon Pardi released his latest studio album, Merry Christmas from Jon Pardi, on October 27, 2023, via Capitol Nashville. It was a Christmas album and his first since 2022's Mr. Saturday Night.
