Jefferson White, Gloria Reuben, and Tate Donovan join the cast of the indie thriller Bonding

Victoria Trofimenko, a director of Ukrainian origin is directing a new Indie thriller, titled Bonding. As per the latest reports by Deadline, the new cast members have been added to the already existing team consisting of Alexandra Doke and David Nordstrand.

The three new cast members are Gloria Reuben, Jefferson White, and Tate Donovan. The film is currently in the process of shooting, which is taking place in Telluride, Colorado, near the Stoner Ranch, which holds historical significance.

Three new actors have joined the cast of Bonding

As mentioned previously, Gloria Reuben, Jefferson White, and Tate Donovan are the latest additions to the Bonding cast list. All three actors have been part of well-known projects in the past.

For instance, one of Gloria Reuben’s most famous works is E.R., for which she was nominated for Golden Globe and Emmy. Her next projects include My Dead Friend Zoe, a dramedy with dark themes. She will also be starring in The Better Sister, a thriller on Amazon.

Jefferson White stars in the hugely popular Yellowstone as Jimmy Hurdstrom. He has also been a part of Civil War directed by Alex Garland and William Oldroyd’s Eileen, which also starred Anne Hathaway.

Tate Donovan’s most recent projects include The Holdovers by Alexander Payne and Ghosted by Dexter Fletcher. He has also starred in Argo. Presently, besides joining the cast of Binding, he is also shooting for Amazon’s Crime 101 by Bart Layton, which also stars Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth.

Alexandra Doke, who was already a cast member, was also seen in City on Fire. He has also previously starred in He Went That Way, a thriller comedy, which also featured Zachary Quinto and Jacob Elordi. There is no other update on existing or new cast members yet.

What is Bonding about?

As per the official synopsis, Bonding tells the story of

“Estranged siblings Cam, Zack, and Mel reunite at a remote ranch, where they accidentally kill a tech millionaire. To cover up the murder, they must overcome their personal differences and confront their dark secrets.”

As is clear from the storyline, the indie film will not only be a thriller but also will focus on themes of dysfunctional families and trauma. Given the fact that it is already mentioned how the siblings do not get along, it would be interesting to see how they put aside their differences and work together to get away from the mess they created.

Bonding is produced by Stoner Ranch Productions, which is based in Colorado. The casting has been handled by CSA and Luis S. Canete. The team is going for a Spring 2025 release though nothing has been confirmed officially.
