Art the Clown returned for chaos in Terrifier 3 during Halloween, and it's happening again this Christmas. The slasher film that grossed $89 million against a mere $2 million budget will be re-releasing in theatres across the United States. This time, it comes with a twist, with some additional content.

Fans get a behind-the-scenes documentary called Art Attack, exploring efforts that brought the events we saw to fruition. Though it will be available to Screambox users next year, they can watch it on this special two-day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day screenings.

Cineverse Chief Creative Officer of Cineverse, Yolanda Macias, said after the positive feedback from Terrifier 3 fans:

couldn't think of a better way to ring in the holidays than to bring Damien's masterpiece back to theaters as a gift to these fans.

Art Attack will include never-before-seen footage and interviews with the people associated with the franchise. In the film, Art the Clown is the central attraction for horror fans, but other characters like Victoria (Samantha Scaffidi) are enticing as well.

The first two films in the series did not have a significant budget, but Damien Leone, writer and director, had enough success to set a handsome budget for Terrifier 3. It sheds light on the gut-churning effects sprinkled throughout the franchise.

Terrifier's story so far

The biggest news is that Terrifier 4 is in development.

The first film introduces Art the Clown and his twisted mind, leading to chaos throughout the city. Victoria is the main protagonist who turns into an antagonist in the later films. Leone brought the character back in the sequels alongside other underdeveloped characters in Terrifier.

It wasn't until the second film that the central protagonist of the franchise, Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera) is introduced. She also discovers a weapon that might be the key to killing the clown. By this film's end, viewers will see Victoria again.

Terrifier 3 gets the Christmas touch as Art the Clown ventures on another killing spree in the film. Sienna is bogged down by survivor's guilt owing to the events from the last film. Nevertheless, it does end with a cliffhanger that the next film might explore.

Little is known about Terrifier 4, but we might learn about the unknown entity that resurrected Art the Clown in the second film.
