Is the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow official logo out? David Krumholtz’s pictures spark speculations

It's a wrap! For Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow's actor David Krumholtz, who plays Zor-El, father to Milly Alcock's Supergirl and uncle to Superman, who David Corenswet will play in chapter one of DCU's Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. Others joining Alcock and Krumholtz include Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, Jason Momoa as Lobo, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, and more.

In his Instagram post, Krumholtz shared a picture of a couple of chairs, one with the name of his character and the other with what appears to be a temporary logo of the upcoming film. The second one made quite a buzz, but before a big speculation shaped, which the actor seems to have sensed already, the Zor-El actor clarified it in a response to a user in the comments section.

He said, when a fan asked if he had "leaked" the logo, that,

"No. Just the logo for the chair."

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is hitting big screens on June 26, 2026, and will be the second chapter in the Gods and Monsters saga. Clayface, The Authority, The Brave and the Bold, and more will follow afterwards.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is a privilege for David Krumholtz

For Krumholtz, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow felt like a privilege. In January, he became a part of this super-family and shared his overflowing joy on his Instagram handle. There, he wrote,

"Joining the DC Universe is a mindblowing privilege. Representing the symbol of hope in Supergirl as Zor-El is a personal triumph. My gratitude overflowing now, like those drawers did."

Before him, Simon Ward portrayed the character in 1984's live-action film Supergirl, but that was more of a cameo; Krumholtz is likely to get more screen time. But we don't expect much, as we all know the film is based on the seven-issue comic book of the same name, where our titular Supergirl is seeking revenge for her father, so his character dying in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is all but confirmed.

Other portrayals of the characters include Robert Gant, who appeared in the television series Supergirl, where Melissa Benoist played the lead, a part of the Arrowverse. These are the only live-action appearances of the character; the rest of them belong to animated versions voiced by actors like Stephen Root and Tom Kenny. The character was often put into stories in non-speaking roles, too.

What are the other updates on the movie's filming?

While David Holtzman has done his part in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow's filming, Jason Momoa has also wrapped up his part. Like the Zor-El actor, the former Aquaman actor shared this update for his new role, Lobo, in James Gunn's DC Universe.

He wrote in his post,

"THATS A WRAP ON LOBO so thankful to play this role."

Filming is also set in Iceland, but there's no solid update on that part. But the region's likely being used for a few scenes for the Fortress of Solitude. Interestingly, we recently got to see it in the latest Superman sneak peek, and it looks mental.

That's all we can tell for recent updates; more shall come in the days to come. But James Gunn has called it "a big science fiction epic film," so there's likely to be a lot to be developed, given it's still over a year from its release.
