Steve Smith Sr. has been accused of infidelity by an X user named Tony Martinez.
Martinez has claimed that Smith had an affair with his wife, a member of the Baltimore Ravens' marching band. Martinez took to X on February 22, 2025, and posted several messages, including screenshots of alleged text exchanges between Smith and his wife Nicole Martinez.
In one of the posts, Martinez wrote: "My wife works for the Marching Ravens." He added:
"She met Steve Smith Sr at work. Steve Smith has been fu***ng my wife. I got receipts, I got a lot more homie."
He didn’t stop there; Martinez even posted a video in which he seemingly calls Smith to confront him. However, it is unclear if the voice on the other end is of Smith.
The NFL Network analyst has been married to Angie Smith since 2000. They share four children together: Peyton, Baylee, Boston, and Steve Jr.
The recent claims made about Smith have sparked an interest among his fans to know more about his relationship with his wife and his family life.
Everything we know about Steve Smith Jr.’s wife and children
Steve Smith Jr. met his wife Angie Smith through a mutual friend while attending college at the University of Utah.
“He seemed really genuine to me,” Angie said. “He was kind of quiet. What he said was, 'I want to get to know you and pick your brain.' That was different to me.”
The two eventually started dating and decided to get married in February 2001, as mentioned on the Baltimore Ravens’ website.
The couple have been together as partners ever since, and their relationship has seemingly flourished over the years. In August 2023, Smith took to Instagram to send birthday wishes to his wife. He wrote:
“Today isn't just a normal Saturday it's Ace's birthday!”
Despite being an athlete, Smith has taught his children to prioritize academics. In an interview with Pride Magazine Online, he said:
“One of the biggest things I’ve done in my football career that I make sure and emphasize is, my kids don’t have to run, jump, catch, flip — they don’t have to play sports to go to college. So, they can focus on academics. Academics in our home is first. Sports are second.”
Smith often shares updates about his family on his social media. As per Pride Magazine Online, Peyton is Smith’s eldest son. He used to play soccer in his college. During one of his matches, he shared with Charlotte magazine:
“Ever since [Peyton] was one, he’s been putting on my jersey on the weekends,” Smith says. “Now I’ll get to put on his jersey on the weekends. That’s a huge honor. It means something.”
Smith’s second son Boston has a keen interest in basketball and has been recruited by several schools. On April 18, 2024, he shared an Instagram post wishing his son a happy birthday.
“Time flies!!! Happy birthday to Boston Gene Smith aka Bam love you and watching you grow up has been a blessing as ur father. Love my Dawg,” he wrote.
His daughter Baylee attends cosmetology school and has often been featured with her father on his Instagram account. His youngest child and third son Steve Smith Jr. is in grade school.
Smith is a five-time Pro Bowler with three-time All-Pro selections. He played 16 seasons in the NFL, particularly with the Carolina Panthers (2001-2013) and with the Baltimore Ravens (2014-2016). According to a report in IB Times, Smith's net worth is estimated to be £7.9 million ($10 million).
As of now, Smith has been silent over the accusations levied against him by Tony Martinez.
