Sinners is a period horror film written and directed by Ryan Coogler. Warner Bros. Pictures will be releasing the film on April 18, 2025. Coogler has written the film and has also produced it with Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler. The official synopsis of the film is,
Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
There is reportedly some buzz and curiosity about whether the film has a post-credit sequence or not. The simple answer is yes, the movie does have a post-credit scene.
Does Sinners have a post-credit scene?
Yes, Sinners consists of a post-credit scene that appears in two parts. The first one appears in the middle as the credits are rolling, while the second one appears properly after the credit sequence ends. The mid-credit scene is directly linked to the storyline of the film compared to the post-credit scene.
Without giving away spoilers, Slash Films has explained that while the latter might not be very important, it is still worth sticking around if you have enjoyed watching Sinners. Viewers will get to experience both these sequences on the big screen once the film is released.

In an interview with The New York Times, Ryan Coogler was asked about Jordan portraying twin characters in the film. In response, the director praised Jordan and said,
"It’s a testament to his charisma. As soon as you put the camera on him, you just naturally care about the guy — “Aw, man, my heart goes out to this person.” I’ve always found that when you push that, when you see how far you can go and have the audience still be with him, that’s where you get a really interesting contrast. For me, he would actually be the wrong person to cast if it was somebody who had no flaws. Because it would get awkward. I think you need that contrast to make it feel like reality."
Jordan, in the same interview, how Coogler trusted him and believed he could be a star when they were working on Fruitvale Station. Jordan said:
"Acting is a lonely journey. It’s a lot of noes and a lot of self-doubt in the beginning. I started young and you’re finding yourself, who you are in this industry that, for a long time, limited what you could be. At a pivotal time, when I was really questioning and doubting, he basically told me, “Yo, Mike, I believe you are a movie star and I want everybody else to see that, too.” And it gave me the reassurance and the confidence that I needed."
Sinners will be released on April 18, 2025.
