The John Wick star Donnie Yen's 2024 film The Prosecutor shall soon make its digital release. According to reports on Blu-ray.com, The Prosecutor shall be available in Blu-ray and 4K UHD format on 27th May, 2025.

Helmed by Donnie Yen, the film is derived from a real-life court case. Donnie Yen also acts in the film, portraying the role of Fok Chi-ho, a former cop who becomes a lawyer. It follows the plot of Fok Chi-ho, who strives to fight against injustice towards a man who has been unjustly accused in a case of drug trafficking.

According to Blu-ray.com, The Prosecutor shall make its release in Blu-ray and 4K UHD versions on 27th May, 2025. Well Go USA, the film distribution company, is supporting the release of these versions.

These versions of the film are available for pre-order too, as per the website. The pre-orders are available on Blu-ray.com as well as Amazon.

On both websites, the pre-orders are priced at $19.99. If you wish to opt for only the Blu-ray version of the film on Amazon, it is available at a price of $19.49.

The duration of the film, as per Amazon, is 1 hour and 57 minutes. The film is in Cantonese, and English subtitles are available in the releases.

Will Donnie Yen come back for a John Wick spin-off?

Fans of Donnie Yen and the John Wick film franchise must be anticipating the actor's further association with the franchise. Well, there is some exciting news in that regard!

Donnie Yen, who is iconic for his role as the visually impaired hitman Caine in John Wick: Chapter 4, shall return in a brand new off-shoot film of the John Wick franchise. Yen shall also be helming the spin-off film. It was announced at the CinemaCon event by Lionsgate Studios.

As per reports on Variety, the spin-off shall explore further into Caine's narrative. The producers of the forthcoming film are Chad Stahelski, Erica Lee, and Basil Iwanyk.

Donnie Yen shall also be the executive producer of the spin-off, along with directing and acting. The forthcoming film shall be penned by Mattson Tomlin.
