Bobby Farrelly's Dear Santa is a Christmas comedy film starring famous musician and actor Jack Black alongside Keegan Michael-Key. Paramount Pictures released the movie on Paramount+ on November 25, 2024.
Iconic comedian and actor Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller (Ben Stiller) is also a part of the cast as he appears alongside another cameo, Kyle Gass, Jack Black's real life bandmate from Tenacious-D. Stiller has played the role of Lucifer/Jack Frost while adding his usual brand of humor. But his part went surprisingly uncredited.
The story revolves around a dyslexic sixth-grader, Liam Turner, who writes a letter to Santa and sends it to the North Pole. However, because of a spelling mistake in the receiver's name, Satan gets the letter instead.
On the day of Christmas, Satan arrives in place of Santa and Liam is left startled. However, he befriends Satan (whom he now believes to be the real Santa) and it only leads to chaos, filled with comic moments portrayed by an ensemble cast. Dear Santa hits a lighthearted tone perfeclty set for the holiday mood.
Is Ben Stiller a part of Dear Santa cast?
In Dear Santa we get to see a surprisingly uncredited cameo from comedian-actor Ben Stiller who plays the role of Lucifer, Satan's boss. Stiller has a short sequence with co-star Jack Black towards the end of the movie where we see his usual sense of humor blending with the movie's theme.
However, the scene is long enough for fans to enjoy comedy at its best. But it maintains the direction of the original story where we see Jack Black's Santa/Satan building a sweet relationship with one of the titular characters, Liam Turner (Robert Timothy Smith). Ben Stiller is thus seen in a crucial side role.

The well-known musician, comedian and actor Jack Black has played the role of Satan as well as Santa in Dear Santa. He had his first commercial appearance in 1982 and ten years later worked in his debut film Bob Roberts.
Black has also played small to major roles in a number of movies and TV shows. In 2000, he had his big break in the movie High Fidelity. Jack has notable big screen appearance in School of Rock, The Holiday, Kung Fu Panda and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
Keegan-Michael Key as Dr. Finkleman
Emmy Award-winning actor Keegan-Michael Key has played the role of Liam's psychologist, Dr. Finkleman. Keegan had his big break in 2004 as a crew member and writer on MadTV.
He is best known for working alongside Jordan Peele on his comedy show Key & Peele. Keegan has also been majorly associated with TV shows namely Playing House and Friends from College. Dont' Think Twice and Wonka are some of the movies in which he has starred.
