A talent agent from Oahu discovered Cravalho through a charity video contest and brought her to Los Angeles to audition for the role. The 2016 film’s casting director Rachel Sutton stated that Cravalho was the last person to audition out of hundreds of actresses.

Freshman year of high school is confusing as it is, and I decided I was going to focus on school.
