Iowa’s Hinterland Festival 2025 is set to be held from August 1, 2025, to August 3, 2025, at St.Charles, Iowa. The festival will be held on its grounds off Des Moines, close to the I-35, with the festival returning for its 10th edition, having been held from 2015 annually except for the 2020 edition canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Hinterland Festival presale will start on January 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Registration for the presale is currently ongoing from the website, with a general on-sale following on January 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

To get presales, visit the festival's ticket page, click on the signup option, and follow the procedures. To get general tickets, follow the same steps as above, except when the general on-sale goes live.

Tickets for the festival start at $270 for general admission tickets, with VIP tickets priced at $675 and Saints category tickets priced at $1920. Camping tickets are priced at $150 for tent camping, $250 for car camping, $600-$950 for RV camping and $1250 - $1800 for Glamping.

General parking is priced at $25-$60, $100 for Premium Parking, $50 for Tent Camping Parking, and $25-$60 for ADA Camping. All ticket prices are exclusive of fees and service charges.

The festival is accessible via Des Moines Shuttles, which will be available from 10:00 a.m. local time to 12:00 a.m. local time (midnight). Shuttles are typically priced at $40 for the 3-day passes, with the tickets for daily rides set at $25.

Rideshares are also available, with the rideshare details being as follows:

  • Any drop-offs, pickups, and ride-shares (Lyft or Uber) can only be done at the designated ride-share location on the far west side of the festival grounds near the festival box office. 3357 St Charles Rd, St Charles, IA 50240
  • Walk on the main festival trail (marked on the map) to get around the campgrounds and from the rideshare location to the festival grounds entrances. Walking along Highway G50 is NOT permitted for safety reasons.

For those coming as campers, there are several camping parking options, which are listed below:

Every vehicle entering the festival will require a parking pass or campsite.

  • General Parking 3-Day - West of I-35.
  • General Parking 1-Day - West of I-35.
  • Premium Parking 3-Day - Next to the east festival entrance.
  • ADA Parking - Southwest of the south festival entrance.

Campers will also require a parking pass. Parking pass timings are listed below:

  • General Parking - 9 am-7 pm Friday-Sunday
  • Premium Parking - 9 am-7 pm Friday-Sunday

The festival has previously featured performances by acts such as Cold War Kids, Ryan Adams, Jade Bird, Sierra Ferrell, and Sylvan Esso as well as Debbii Dawson, The Japanese House, and more.
