Dave Blunts has a tour scheduled for 2025. While the exact details of his tour, like dates and venues, have not been revealed as of the writing of this article, the singer recently made an appearance on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, during which he stated that he planned to crowd surf during said upcoming tour:
"Yeah, the tour's gonna be insane and I'm gonna crowd surf during the tour."
In a subsequent back and forth with host Bootleg Kev, the singer continued insisting that he could crowd surf:
"Bootleg Kev: I don't think you should do that. Dave Blunts: I think I can. I don't have b*tch ass fans, they will hold me. Kev: I've crowd surfed multiple times, probably 50-60 times. What you need is, you gotta identify the Mountain in the crowd..but the thing is bro, you still gotta get caught. Blunts: I'mma get caught. They'll catch me."
The back and forth continues:
Bootleg Kev: Bro, you might hurt yourself or lord forbid, kill someone. Blunts: Hey man, listen, its that I know That they're gonna catch me. Kev: You have kids as fans, they can't catch it. They're physically not capable of catching..
Dave Blunts recently started losing weight
Dave Blunts recently posted a series of photos of him, stating that he was losing weight. This came after he suffered a health scare a week before his Juice WRLD performance in late 2024 when he was rushed to the hospital.
The singer also performed at the Juice WRLD event with an oxygen mask, drawing concern back then from fans and criticism from fellow rappers over his state of health.
Blunts talked about his life and music in an exclusive interview with Complex last year:
"My favorite things to rap about are women, my friends, traumatic experiences, and controversial topics. Anytime I play my music for anybody, I'm just like, ‘Hey man, I just want to let you know, I be saying some crazy sh*t. I don't know what's wrong with me. And I'm sorry."
The singer later added:
"Music has always been my only hobby. Well, music and playing b**ch-a** Fortnite. I hate that fu***ng game, man, but I can't stop playing it. It's like an abusive relationship, bro. I keep getting my ass beat, but for whatever reason, I can't leave."
Dave Blunts later talked about his purpose as an artist, stating:
"My purpose as an artist is to show people that you don't have to conform to what society's image is to be successful or to make it. You can be yourself and people will cling to that. People will be drawn to that. You don't have to try to be your favorite rapper."
Dave Blunts continued:
"You don't have to try to dress like them. You don't have to try to be a gangster or become something that you're not. You can be yourself and people will like that. That's what I feel like my purpose is, and that's really my whole message behind this shit. You don't have to be like these n****s to be liked by these n****s."
Dave Blunts released two studio albums, Well Dude Here's My Thing and If I Could I Would, both in 2024. A third album, Exactly So Shut Up, is set to be released sometime this year. Dave Blunts has also released several EPs, the latest being I Would Like to See You Try, released in 2024.
