We are no strangers to the feud between Justice League's Joss Whedon and Gal Gadot. The actress claimed that he mistreated her and threatened to end her career. Well, she wasn't really in a mood to just listen to all of it, so she went public with the incident.
After all that has happened, she appeared in one interview with Elle magazine and discussed this bit. She told Veronique Hyland, who took the interview:
"Oh, I was shaking trees as soon as it happened. And I must say that the heads of Warner Brothers, they took care of it.... Going back to the sense of righteousness that I have...you’re dizzy because you can’t believe this was just said to you."
The actress continued:
" And if he says it to me, then obviously he says it to many other people. I just did what I felt like I had to do. And it was to tell people that it’s not okay."
Joss Whedon was the director of reshoots after Zack Snyder had to step away from Justice League (2017) for personal reasons. Snyder's version of the film was released in 2021.
What was the original case that brought this feud to light?

The issue was reportedly about a scene in this film that Joss Whedon was not willing to remove. And things escalated, which only came to light when Gadot made the issue public. However, he has denied that anything like that ever happened and it was all just a misunderstanding.
He kept language at the center and implied that English wasn't the Justice League actress's first language. He claimed, as The Independent reports, that he meant Gal Gadot "would have to tie him to a railroad track and do it over his dead body."
But then, the Justice League actress had an answer to this too. She simply said,
"I understood perfectly."
All we know is that the matter was taken care of but details about it never saw the light of day.
The Justice League actress isn't the only one with such experience with Joss Whedon

On July 1, 2020, Ray Fisher, who played Cyborg in Justice League, made a tweet that said Whedon's on-set treatment is
"Gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable."
A year later, he was backed by Charisma Carpenter of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a show Joss Whedon created, who posted a tweet revealing her experience with the filmmaker.
That escalated quickly because just after a day of Charisma's tweet, her co-star from the show, Sarah Michelle Gellar, who plays the titular Buffy Summers, made an Instagram post in her support.
After that, the Justice League actor was ready to talk about this in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, who published the story on April 6, 2021. In there, he outright said that a few of the people he has worked with aren't "fit for leadership."
Joss Whedon, in his response to this tweet, expressed what he thinks of the actor, saying,
"We’re talking about a malevolent force. We’re talking about a bad actor in both senses."
Whedon has worked for DC's rival, Marvel, too. He directed the first couple of Avengers films. There, he co-wrote The Avengers with Zak Penn. Penn later wrote a book called MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, where he mentions Joss Whedon. And this is what he has to say:
"I think he's a d*ck. I think he's a bad person, and it was really surprising."
