Oasis announced their 2025 reunion tour on August 27, 2024. Prior to that, reunion rumors sparked speculation among the media and fans alike about who would support the band in their efforts, with one strong contender being Blossoms.

The English indie rock band's gig at Wythenshawe Park in Manchester was used to tease the announcement of the reunion tour while Oasis member Liam Gallagher headlined the Reading Festival.

However, none of the rumors have been confirmed by Oasis. Blossoms' lead singer Tom Ogden addressed rumors about his band supporting Oasis during his appearance on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, responding to a direct question on the matter. He is quoted via NME’s September 15, 2024 article:

"No. I don’t even think they’ve sorted it out yet. There’s been no conversation or anything else. I think they’ll probably sort it out next year."

The band faced significant criticism, alongside authorized vendor Ticketmaster, for the ticketing problems faced by fans. Dynamic pricing caused substantial price surges, and some fans were kicked out of long queues by Ticketmaster's system after being mistakenly flagged as bots.

The band recently addressed these criticisms by announcing two more concerts for the tour, with the proviso that those unable to get tickets would be the first in line for the new events via a ballot. They also released a statement pointing out that they had no control over the actual ticketing process.
