The trailer for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning has finally dropped online, and it feels every bit as exciting as the MI fans would expect from the franchise. Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt, performing stunts that people half his age may not dare to do. The stakes seem considerably higher this time since it is the "final" reckoning of his journey.

It's unclear where the franchise will lead in the future. Regardless, the trailer promises just the kind of experience that must have made people fall in love with these films. It all started in 1996 with a Brian De Palma film that introduced the ultra-athletic Cruise to the audience. Three decades later, Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning shows Cruise still ruling over their hearts.

Christopher McQuarrie's upcoming film shows Ethan "ready to risk it all." The trailer offers a peek at the recurring MI cast of Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, and Pom Klementieff. However, it also shows Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham and Severance's Tramell Tillman appearing in some roles. So, the fans have immediately started sharing their reactions. One of them wrote,

"Director: let's use CGI; Tom: I am CGI(Cruise going insane)"

Many comments pointed out how Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning feels like the "end of an era" to them.

"If this really is the last Mission Impossible film, I need to say, this series will go down as the greatest action franchise of all time. Thanks to Tom Cruise and the extraordinary team behind every one of these films"
"I was sixteen when the original Mission Impossible came out on May 22, 1996. About 29 years later we have the final chapter. He has an incredible dedication to his projects and to filmmaking in general. Tom Cruise, you have my respect for it. It has been a privilege to see the films you have produced. Thank you."

One of the fans noticed Tramell from Apple TV+'s Severance briefly appearing in the trailer. He plays Mr Milchik in this hit show.
