If you're obsessed with Pedro Pascal's The Last of Us, there's another post-apocalyptic project on the way. I Am Legend 2 is officially in the plans, according to the recent comments from Will Smith. The 56-year-old actor was the lone star of the first film that was released back in 2007. It showed him as one of the few living survivors of a deadly virus that wiped out nearly 90% of the human population. So, he used his knowledge as a virologist to find a cure.
Now, almost two decades after its release, a sequel is on its way. That might be surprising for the fans who saw the theatrical version of the film and did not catch up on its alternate ending. Will Smith's I Am Legend was supposed to get a prequel over a decade ago, but that plan was reportedly shelved at the time.
