In the clip shared by The Shade Room, a mother can be seen in a shoe store with her son. When he moves forward to pick the NBA players’ sneakers, she asks him to put them down and choose something from Ja Morant or Kobe Bryant. She can be heard criticizing Edwards:

“Put them back ‘cause he don’t take care of his kids.” The woman in the video said. “Get Somebody else like Ja Morant or Kobe Bryant.”

Fans were quick to react to the video and have praised the woman for teaching moral values to her kid.

Per Yahoo, Anthony Edwards reportedly shares three children with three different women and had filed for paternity of his youngest child, which he allegedly shares with his ex-Ayesha Howard.

Edwards is currently engaged in a legal dispute with his ex, Ayesha Howard over the paternity of their newborn daughter, Aubri Summers, who was reportedly born in October 2024. A DNA test result has confirmed Edwards as the father of the child, as stated in Pro Football & Sports Network.

The report further indicated that the dispute involves child support and jurisdiction, with Edwards arguing for Georgia jurisdiction. While Howard asserted that she resides in California and seeks child support there. Edwards reportedly didn’t seek child custody but wanted to solve the financial issues.

According to the court documents obtained by In Touch, the NBA star’s lawyer argued,

“[Ayesha’s] conduct here is unjustifiable and a bad faith attempt to obtain a higher child support order. Ayesha’s conduct of manufacturing a false reality and using the parties’ child for financial gains should not be tolerated.”

Howard reportedly also has a son, Jason, with rapper Lil Baby.
