How to get tickets to The Tool Live In The Sand festival 2025?

Tool's Live In The Sand festival 2025 is scheduled to be held from March 7, 2025 to March 9, 2025 at the Hard Rock & Royalton in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The 2025 edition will be the the inaugral edition of the festival and feature performances by acts such as Mastadon and Primus.

Presale for the festival will be available from October 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. PT. In order to access said presale, interested patrons will need to become part of the band's official fan club, the Tool Army. The links to register to the fan club can be found at the band's official socials' bio or via their official website.

General onsale for the festival will start on October 30, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. PT. Interested patrons can sign up for the onsale at the Passes come in hotel packages. Packages are priced per person and start at $5975 for the Hard Rock Hotel, $5575 for the Royalton Bavaro and $5175 for the Royalton Splash.

Tool's bassist Justin Chancellor elaborated on the upcoming festival in a general press statement on October 25, 2024:

"We couldn’t be more thrilled to share the news that Primus, Mastodon, and Coheed and Cambria will be joining us for our first-ever Caribbean performance at 'Tool in the Sand.' 2025 is shaping up nicely. See you all there for what should be an unforgettable weekend of music!”

Alongside the music, the festival will offer off-site excursions to patrons, with the website stating:

"Off-site excursions and on-site resort activities will be offered to all fans, including catamaran expeditions, snorkeling, rappelling, and many other activities. Punta Cana is home to the longest zip-line in the Caribbean, the world class Marinarium Marine Park, and the wonderfully immersive Scape Eco-Park..."

The exact location of the resort as well as transportation options are also given below:

  • Hard Rock Punta Cana: Km 28, #74, Blvd. Turístico del Este, Punta Cana 23000, Dominican Republic
  • Royalton: Playa Arena Gorda, Carretera Macao, Punta Cana Dominican Republic 23000
  • The festival will have free shuttles running before, during, and after the show from the Royalton to the Hard Rock, where the stage is located.
  • During the show, guests staying at the Royalton will be able to enjoy all-inclusive drinks on the beach at the Rock Hard Punta Cana. However, Royalton Guests will not have access to all-inclusive food at the Hard Rock and will need to utilize the free shuttle service back to their home hotel to eat.

After the festival, Tool is scheduled to perform at the Explanada Del Estadio Azteca in Ciudad De Mexico, Mexico on March 15, 2025.

Tool released their last studio album, Fear Inoculum, in 2019.
