FireAid Benefit Concert is scheduled to be held on January 30, 2025 at the Inuit Dome and Kia Forum. The concert was first announced on January 10, 2025 by Live Nation, which sponspors the event. The concert's lineup has now been announced, it is set to feature artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, P!nk, and Rod Stewart.

Tickets for the tour will be available from January 22, 2025 at 12 pm local time via Ticketmaster or the official website of the concert. To get tickets, please visit either of the two sites when are live, pay the requisite amount and follow the requisite procedure to get tickets.

According to the FireAid concert website, there will no presale to provide equal opportunity to everyone who wishes to get tickets. The concert will also be livestreamed by a host of venues and streaming sites, including:

The website of FireAid details its goal and how it will function, with the blurb stating:

"The FireAid benefit concert will be held at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum on January 30th dedicated to rebuilding communities that have been devastated by wildfires. Contributions made to FireAid in connection with the FireAid benefit concert and other direct donations will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation -"

The blurb continues:

"- and will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California. The Annenberg Foundation, with decades of philanthropic leadership in our community, including rapid response, will help coordinate a team to direct funds for the greatest impact."

The concert is specifically aimed at creating a 501(c)(3) non profit endeavour, as mentioned by the original announcement on Live Nation website:

"Proceeds from the concert will go towards a 501(c)(3) created for this event that will focus on rebuilding infrastructure, supporting displaced families, and advancing fire prevention technologies and strategies to ensure LA is better prepared for fire emergencies."

The concert comes at a time when the wildfire continues to affect Los Angeles and surrounding areas, leaving many people homeless and having to be evacuated out of the affected neighbourhoods. The Eaton Fire is currently contained at 87%, while the Palisades fire has been contained to 57%.

As of the writing of this article, at least 27 people are confirmed dead, with more suffering severe injuries. The economic loss from the fire is estimated to be nearly $50 billion, the largest damage caused by a fire in the area. The fire started on January 7, 2025 and spread rapidly due to drought condition and high speed winds.
