French filmmaker Nicolas Cuche's directorial Honeymoon Crasher, originally Lune de miel avec ma mère, is out on Netflix.

Honeymoon Crasher has a cast of actors including Michèle Laroque, Julien Frison, Rossy de Palma, Gilbert Melki, Margot Bancilhon, Kad Merad and Clara Joly.

Honeymoon Crasher follows the earnest yet hilarious story of Lucas, who goes through a journey of self-discovery after his fiancee Elodie leaves him at their wedding.

However, Lucas had paid in abundance for his honeymoon arrangement.

Upon learning that it cannot be reimbursed, Lucas goes on his own honeymoon, with the company of his mother, Lily.

1) Mauritius, East Africa (Honeymoon destination of Lucas and Elodie)

The scenes of the honeymoon destination have been shot at different, picturesque locations in Mauritius, as that is where the honeymoon was planned.

This location is the central point of the film, as this is the place where the main crux of the story lies. Mauritius is the place where the central characters go through the biggest development in their storylines.

The visuals of Mauritius were breathtaking, leaving a burning urge in the audience to immediately pack their bags and set off to Mauritius.

According to Mauritius Tour Travels, Honeymoon Crasher has involved a number of 154 Mauritian artists in their production. The website has revealed that, 81% of people involved in the film production were from Mauritius.

After a roller coaster, crazy ride on the vehicle driven by the spontaneous and lively Lily, with a scared Lucas at the back, they reach at this lush, green vantage point.

Maya takes the guests to this lookout point, which serves as a nice place to click pictures. This is the place where Lucas and Maya begin their interaction, soon developing into a bond.

La Vallee des Couleurs National Park is a huge place for adventure as well as natural scenic beauty, comprising of many landforms, including hills, forests, etc.


3) 'Rochester Falls'- Mauritius, East Africa (When Lucas takes a dive in the water)

This place serves as the turning point for Lucas's character development, where the usually scared Lucas finally breaks out of his comfort zone and fears.

He takes a big dive into the water, surprising everyone. After he comes out of the water, Lucas gets bitten by a bunch of poisonous leeches.

This exciting waterfall is a very favorable location for tourists.


4) 'Hôtel de Ville'- Vannes, France (First scene: the Wedding of Lucas and Elodie)

The very first scene of the film- the wedding of Lucas and Elodie. This is the location where everything begins.

This historical, 19th-century Neo-Renaissance style building is the perfect location for a wedding ceremony.

However, its opulence and magnificence cut deeper as Elodie abandons Lucas at the wedding altar, in a heartbeat.
