Honeymoon Crasher cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the Netflix film?

Honeymoon Crasher can be a misleading title, as we do see a mother joining his son on a honeymoon, but that's not really a honeymoon, to be honest. The story revolves around a guy who is left at the altar by her fiance and who runs away with a Formula One driver.

What should one do now? He has made the arrangements, spent a handsome sum for this life-changing event (which it does thoroughly), and now it's all seemingly going down the drain. Then his father encourages the guy's mother to accompany him on this, what should've been a honeymoon with his new wife.

It brings us a comic touch as the film advances and both the mother and the son get to know each other better. Actually, better than ever. The film was met with a mild reception, holding 5.5 out of 10 ratings at the time of writing.

Julien Frison is Lucas

Julian Frison is Lucas in Honeymoon Crasher, the lead character who is going through a tragedy after her fiance leaves him disrespectfully. His savings he made as a teacher were meant for this event but he instead had to enjoy it like a vacation with his mother.

The 31-year-old hails from Bousval in Belgium but later moved to Paris, becoming a member of Comedie-Francaise in 2016. He has been working since 2006, where his initial works include Odette Toulemonde (2006), Big City (2007), Right or Wrong (2009), and more.

It's not just films and television; he has been a part of theater too, where he has performed in plays like Danton’s Death by Georg Büchner, Macbeth, and King Lear by William Shakespeare. His other notable works include The Night of the 12th (2022) and The Three Musketeers - Part I: D'Artagnan (2023).

Michele Laroque is Lily

Lucas finds a companion in her mother, Lily, played by Michele Laroque in Honeymoon Crasher. She appears to be more enthusiastic but not really a companion Lucas was hoping for. During their hotel stay, they fool the authorities into believing that they are a couple.

Just like Frison, she too comes from French roots, where her television debut happened in 1988 with La Classe. Laroque landed a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Martine in La Crise (1992). Additionally, she was the French voice behind Treasure Planet's (2002) Amelia too.

The actress has mainly worked for French cinema only, where some of the notable films she was a part of include The Closet (2001), Hey Good Looking! (2006), The Merry Widow (2007), and more.
