While new projects keep getting added to its catalog, some older projects leave. Christopher Nolan's Inception, Rob Reiner's Stand By Me, and Tom Cruise-led Oblivion were some of the recent movies that left the platform.

Oldboy is the easiest recommendation from this list. However, please note that this movie is not for the faint-hearted. It features disturbing themes and gruesome violence that some viewers may not prefer. However, it is a visceral action thriller that you won't be able to forget soon after.

This South Korean film is co-written and directed by Park Chan-wook. It follows a man trying to find his kidnappers, who held him captive for many years. His journey takes shocking directions as he gradually discovers more information about himself.

Oldboy will be leaving Netflix on March 24.


Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Mad Max: Fury Road showed Australian filmmaker, George Miller, returning to a film franchise he started in 1979. It is a post-apocalyptic thriller that follows a woman seeking justice against an oppressive ruler along with a team of ferocious people in their wasteland.

Tom Hardy co-led the film along with Charlize Theron. The former played Max Rockatansky, a drifter who joined Imperator Furiosa's (Theron) ambitious journey. The film was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and was praised for its technically proficient action sequences.

Mad Max: Fury Road will be leaving Netflix on March 30.


No Escape (2015)

No Escape is a survival thriller written and directed by John Erick Dowdle. Owen Wilson and Lake Bell co-starred in this film as a married couple trying to make a life for their family in their overseas home. The trouble begins when the foreigners like them start getting executed.

The film was shot in Thailand and Cambodia and was later banned in the same countries because of concerns over the film's themes. It might offer an adrenaline rush for some viewers that may not be enough for others.

No Escape will be leaving Netflix on March 25.


Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

Godzilla vs. Kong showed two cinematic worlds colliding entertainingly. The ensemble cast includes Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Brian Tyree Henry, and Rebecca Hall. While technically a survival thriller, it serves adrenaline junkies looking for a fun big-screen spectacle.

It is a part of Monsterverse that shows the battle between its titular characters. Godzilla and Kong get into an epic fight, leaving humanity's fate in question. Upon its release, the film was reportedly beloved by the audience. It holds a 91% Popcornmeter rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Godzilla vs. Kong will be leaving Netflix on March 30.


The Machine (2023)

The Machine is an American comedy film directed by Peter Atencio, best known for his extensive work on sketch comedy show, Key & Peele. He uses his comic skills with Bert Kreischer and Jimmy Tatro. Mark Hamill is also a part of its cast.

The critics weren't fans of this movie and found it "sloppily lifeless." However, it might not have mattered to the audience. They reportedly loved its over-the-top silliness filled with Kreischer's humor. If that fits your bill, The Machine might be your cup of tea.

The Machine will be leaving Netflix on March 23.
