Ghost Rider star Nicolas Cage will soon be back on the big screens with his highly anticipated Western action film, Gunslingers, which is set for theatrical release in the United States this April. With Brian Skiba at the helm of the project, the upcoming movie promises to bring intense action as it features a star-studded cast comprising Heather Graham and Stephen Dorff.
Gunslingers will explore the story of a small town in Kentucky that goes up in flames, and violence erupts owing to a wanted man going by the identity of Thomas Keller, portrayed by Stephen Dorff. The official synopsis of the movie, per IMDb, reads:
"In a town named redemption, reformed gunslinger Keller and mad genius Ben are guided by spiritual leader Jericho towards vindication. While confronting their violent histories, their newfound peace is challenged by violence and revenge."
When will Gunslingers be released?
Lionsgate Movies holds the distribution rights for the Nicolas Cage starter, which will hit theatres across the United States on April 11, 2025. The movie will also be made available on video-on-demand services on the same date. Gunslingers will reportedly be accessible for buying or renting on Apple TV+ and Prime Video.
What do we know about the plot of Gunslingers?
Gunslingers centers on a highly wanted individual named Thomas Keller whose appearance in a town called Redemption follows a series of violent clashes. Keller has a dark past, and his crimes have driven him to where he is now. As a mob runs after him, trying to get vengeance, Keller tries to escape his past and look for peace in a new place.
His arrival at Redemption reunites Keller with his brother Ben, a genius now considered a mad 'Gunslinger'. Unfortunately, Keller's past seems to follow him to the town.
Brutal fights go down and take the small town of Redemption through long-lasting turmoil. However, with the help of an old spiritual leader named Jericho and the support of the townsfolk, Keller tries to neutralize the situation.
The trailer of Gunslingers, which premiered last month, has left glimpses of an intense drama where Heather Graham also takes up the role of a woman named Val (someone whose part is pivotal to the plot). Further details about the story are being kept under wraps.

Academy Award-winning star Nicolas Cage will lead the cast of Gunslingers in the role of Ben. Alongside him, we have co-stars Heather Graham (known from the Hangover franchise) playing the part of a lady named Val as she is joined by Stephen Dorff, who has been cast as Thomas Keller.
