Great Grandpa recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of their sophomore album

Great Grandpa recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of their sophomore album, Four of Arrows. The band stated on an Instagram page on October 26, 2024, stating:

"I can’t believe I’m typing these words, but today marks the 5th anniversary of our sophomore album, Four of Arrows. As with most things these days, this labor of love feels like it happened just yesterday and simultaneously a million years ago. Our lives have all changed in a multitude of ways since 2019."

The statement continues:

"We’ve moved countries, started families, transitioned, changed careers. There’s an endless list of ebbs and flows. I am so thankful that through all of these moments, big and small, we have had resilience, forgiveness, and love in our hearts for one another."

The statement continues:

"At the core of it all, that’s what the ethos of this album is. All we could ever hope is that these songs reach people who need access to those themes in their own lives. Thank you for a beautiful 5 years!"

The band released new merchandise and gave their fans a 5% discount on merchandise and vinyl purchased on the occasion. Four of Arrows was released via Double Double Whammy on October 24, 2019. The album featured 11 tracks and was produced by Mike Vernon Davis.

Great Grandpa released their debut studio album, Plastic Cough, in 2017. The band also released an EP titled Can Opener in 2015 via Broken World Media. The band comprises Al Menne, Carrie Goodwin, Cam Laflam, Dylan Hanwright, and Pat Goodwin.
