Live Nation produced a one-night-only concert at the 66,795-capacity venue saw the singer play several new songs, as well as a few appearances and performances from other artists, such as Fein by Playboi Carti.

The Weeknd premieres new songs during the São Paulo concert
The singer premiered several new songs during the concert at the Estádio MorumBIS soccer stadium in São Paulo. These new songs are from the singer's upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow.
The singer elaborated on the album in an exclusive interview with Billboard Brazil, quoted here from the Billboard US post on September 6, 2024, stating:
"There is always pressure to surpass my last project. Growth is important. Sometimes it may not be what people want to hear from me at the moment, but, when the body of work is complete, I hope they can appreciate what I have been trying to achieve. I have been working on this discography for a long time. It was all planned."
The singer continued:
“I always try to achieve something that I haven’t done before musically. Sometimes it may not be clear on the first listen [to the album], but fans seem to figure it out over time. The only pressure for me is to be better than the older version of myself, focusing on growth, achieving my own goals, not other people’s"
Also known as Abel Taseyef, the singer has previously stated that the upcoming album will be his last project under the moniker of The Weeknd in an exclusive interview with W Magazine on September 8, 2023:
"I’m going through a cathartic path right now. It’s getting to a place and a time where I’m getting ready to close the Weeknd chapter, I’ll still make music, maybe as Abel, maybe as The Weeknd. But I still want to kill The Weeknd. And I will. Eventually. I’m definitely trying to shed that skin and be reborn."
"The album I’m working on now is probably my last hurrah as The Weeknd. This is something that I have to do. As The Weeknd, I’ve said everything I can say."
The upcoming album will be the singer's sixth and as mentioned above, final album. The singer last released a studio album in 2022, with Dawn FM charting at the top spot on the Billboard 200 album chart, among other successes.
