Kendrick Lamar recently released his sixth studio album, GNX, on November 22, 2024. The album was a surprise drop, released without the usual fanfare and ad campaign that usually proceeds with an album release. The album consists of 12 songs and comes in just over 44 minutes.
The album features a number of local LA artists, who, according to NPR Podcast, earned their first Global Charts spot on Spotify due to their appearances on the album, as well as gaining the biggest streaming day of their career on the platform.
