The first look of Final Destination: Bloodlines was out a couple of days ago and we'll watch the film on May 16, 2025. There's still time, so fans can rewatch the entire saga to prepare for the upcoming film. Streaming services have made it easier to catch old films, so let's check out where one can watch the five earlier movies of the franchise.

The Final Destination film series is among the most lucrative horror franchises when it comes to the Warner Bros.-owned New Line Cinema, alongside The Conjuring and It. However, it is yet to scale the $1 billion mark. The Conjuring universe has grossed $2.2 billion in total, according to Wikipedia, while The Numbers website reveals that the It films have crossed the $1 billion mark.

The new chapter in the Final Destination series is a soft reboot but keeps the premonitions at its core, as we have seen in the past films of the franchise. Plot details available so far have been few, but a brief premise on Wikipedia says:

A college student experiencing a recurring nightmare that foretells her family's demise returns home to find the person who can prevent it.

Where can you stream all the Final Destination films?

There are multiple options to stream these films and, interestingly, all you need to do is look at a platform streaming one of the movies from the franchise and it is likely that rest of them will be there. After all, they are a part of the family. We did exactly that and found a few options.

Max would be the top choice here, where users can pay $9.99 for a monthly subscription. There are a couple of bundles that fans can try out where, other than Max, they can opt for Hulu with one option, and Disney+ and Hulu with another.

Another option would be Fandango at Home, if they are looking to rent the movies from a place where prices may vary. It's the same with Amazon Video. However, Apple TV+ is there, too, if you want to rent the Final Destination films. Here, each film costs $3.99. If you don't want a monthly subscription, renting is the ideal option.

If you do go for a subscription, what would you do for the rest of the month? There are many good films to catch, of course — A Different Man, Juror #2, The Martian, to name just a few.

A little something to rouse your curiosity

All the films are essentially the same in terms of theme, but the plots vary with the introduction of new characters. The first movie made the premise of the franchise clear: You can't escape death; fate will catch up even if you have had a narrow escape. Most of the characters die. The first film, released in 2000, has Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) at the center of the plot. His very first premonition in the franchise, where he sees a plane crashing, and prevents his group from boarding the craft, remains iconic.

Final Destination 2 (2003) takes place a year after the events of the original story, where Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook) is the central character. This time, the group devises a cheat code to try and prevent death. However, it isn't really clear what the cheat code is until the very end.

Final Destination 3 (2006) and The Final Destination (2009) are standalone sequels. Which means a viewer doesn't need to watch the first two films to understand the chaos that unfolds in these films. But we insist wtach the films in order.

Lastly, there's Final Destination 5. Released in 2011, it is technically the first. The film serves as a prequel to the 2000 movie, where Eric Heisserer got the idea of the eye surgery scene from a similar procedure being performed on his wife. She's safe.
