Fight Or Flight: Release window, plot, cast, and more details explored

Everyone is excited about Josh Hartnett returning to the action genre in James Madigan's Fight or Flight. The film is already at large in Germany but the U.S. and U.K. audiences will have to wait for it a bit. This is going to be sort of 2022's Bullet Train but on a plane.

The action thriller stars Charithra Chandran (Edwina Sharma from Bridgerton), Julian Kostov (Makarov from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III), Katee Sackhoff (Kara "Starbuck" Thrace from Battlestar Galactica), and more.

Not a lot is out there in the open regarding the plot, but we are likely to see a mercenary taking on fights with other killers. Brooks McLaren and D.J. Cotrona have written the screenplay which will be distributed by Sky Cinema in the U.K., and Oscilloscope Laboratories in the U.S.

Fight or Flight is currently available in Germany through Amazon Prime, as one user review on IMDb suggests. Further release window suggests that it will be available in the U.S. and the U.K. during February 2025. As for now, there is no option to stream the film if you are residing outside Germany.

It will be competing with the number of films releasing in the same month, especially the highly anticipated Marvel movie Captain America: Brave New World, starring Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Giancarlo Esposito, and more.

The exact plot of the film is under the wraps but the trailer gives us a good glimpse as to what we can expect. Josh Hartnett is assigned a task that requires him to board a plane.

Also, the small synopsis available gives a clearer picture. It reads:

"A mercenary takes on the job of tracking down a target on a plane but must protect her when they're surrounded by people trying to kill both of them."

However, he ends up being trapped on the plane, where he now has to fight his way in the high-octane action thriller. It seems like Josh's character, Lucas Reyes, has taken this assignment as he wants his name clear from something. He seems retired, much like John Wick but then the ghosts of his past are coming back. Though it will be a comedy flick, unlike John Wick.
