Fast And Furious 11 is going to be the last installment of the Fast and Furious franchise. The film will be action-packed and will conclude the storyline that has been ongoing for around two decades.

After the release of Fast X in 2023, Vin Diesel confirmed that the 11th installment would be the last in the franchise. It was initially slated for release in April 2025, but this has been changed to sometime in 2026. Diesel recently confirmed that the forthcoming film will be shot in the summer of 2025. Fans who have been following the franchise for many years are reportedly eager to find out all the details about Fast And Furious 11, so let's dive in.

When will Fast And Furious 11 release?

Fast And Furious 11 was initially slated to be released on April 4, 2025. However, the film was delayed due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes, so it is now set to release in 2026. Louis Leterrier, who is directing the film, had previously stated that shooting would begin in September 2024, but that did not happen. According to Diesel, filming will now commence in mid-2025.

Who is starring in Fast and Furious 11?

Universal Pictures has not officially announced the cast list for Fast and Furious 11. However, the franchise has been headlined by Vin Diesel (as Dom Toretto). Here is a list of other actors who might appear in the 11th installment:

  • Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz
  • Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto
  • Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce
  • Chris "Ludacris" Bridges as Tej Parker
  • Sung Kang as Han Lue
  • Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey

Besides these actors, Dwayne Johnson might also reprise his role as Luke Hobbs, as he was seen in a brief moment in the previous installment. There is a chance that some characters from earlier films might also return for the last time, including Gal Gadot (Gisele), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw), and Daniela Melchior (Isabel).

What will be the plot of Fast and Furious 11?

Fast And Furious 11 is expected to pick up from the cliffhanger ending of Fast X. According to Screen Rant, Diesel has also stated that the film will bid a proper goodbye to Brian O’Conner (a character played by Paul Walker, who passed away in 2013). Diesel mentioned that he could not conclude the saga without honoring that character. Additionally, Hobbs will play a pivotal role due to the cliffhanger ending, as well as Johnson and Diesel putting their reported feud behind them.

While the film will conclude the main franchise, more spin-offs are expected in the future to continue the story. The franchise began with The Fast and the Furious, which was released on June 22, 2001. The success of this film led to a sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious, which came out in 2003.

This was followed by The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Fast & Furious. The franchise then transitioned from a street racing theme to an action-thriller genre with Fast Five, released in 2011. The film was a major box office success.
