In its time on the big screen, Christopher Nolan’s Inception has won various awards and accolades in the industry. The movie has listed famous actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Elliot Page, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, and Michael Caine. How much did Inception make in the Box Office?


According to Forbes, Christopher Nolan’s Inception made $824 million at the box office. The movie was made on a budget of $160 million and made an opening collection of $62.7 million, making it the second highest-grossing movie at that time under the science fiction category falling behind Avatar, which made an opening of $77 million during its release. Inception was known to be released in both conventional and IMAX theaters during its release back on July 16, 2010. The movie got its world premiere in the prestigious Leicester Square in London and was later aired across 3,792 conventional theaters and 195 IMAX theaters in the United States of America and Canada as a whole. With its entire collection, the movie was titled the sixth-highest-grossing film of 2010 in North America, standing behind movies like Toy Story 3, Alice in Wonderland, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.
