Den of Thieves 2: Pantera opened up with style at the box office, adding $15 million on its first weekend. By the end of its theatrical run, it ended up with $36 million domestically. All in all, it was a banger and collected $57 million globally. However, that's not enough to call it profitable, given it had a reported production budget of $40 million.
We see Gerard Butler's Big Nick and O'Shea Jackson Jr.'s Donnie returning in the sequel and giving us one ambiguous ending. Fans are certain to think about whether there will be a Den of Thieves 3 or not after they have watched the film. We have discussed it here.
But it's not just the action sequences and big guys planning heists, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera has got some good music in there too. We will discuss the songs that play throughout the film and see what plays when in there. As for the original soundtrack, Kevin Matley replaced Cliff Martinez, who gave the score in the first film, for the score here. We will give you that list too.
A list of songs that play throughout Den of Thieves 2: Pantera
La Francaise by Rue du Soleil
The song plays in a bar scene where Donnie is having shots. This is just before the scene when Donnie returns and is surprised to find Big Nick on his premises.
Zocalo by Armin van Buuren & Gabriel & Dresden
Big Nick is about to meet the Panthers, a place that appears like an open bar, more like a resort. Zocalo is playing as we see Nick walking through the area as the party is in full swing.
Need You by Tinlicker feat. Thomas Oliver
The song follows Zocalo in the same Den of Thieves 2: Pantera sequence only, but Big Nick appears to have acquainted himself well with the Panthers, it seems.
Amnesie by NHYX
Now that Big Nick is wasted in this Den of Thieves 2: Pantera scene, he approaches Cleopatra (Evin Ahmad) as she dances. The background kind of fades but we can hear Amnesie play in the background.
Wrong Idea by Snoop Dogg, Kokane, Lil 1/2 Dead, Bad Azz
This is where Donnie is hanging out with his gang, taking a look at his car, but before that, he didn't forget to play the Wrong Idea on the speaker.
Samo pijan mogu da prebolim by Bane Bojanic
While Donnie is listening to his American rap, Slavko just changes it to the Bane Bojanic song, claiming it to be the song for a "real gangster."
Juzni Vetar Gas by Coby x Mili
Later, there's a scene in Den of Thieves 2: Pantera where several cars are coming out on a dock, and we hear that music being played on one of the car's speakers. This is where Vuk meets the Tigers.
Ave Verum Corpus by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
In the entire movie full of devils, this is the only thing close to God as Big Nick visits this church and hears the choir members sing Ave Verum Corpus.
Outro by M83
And that's the end; Outro begins just before the movie ends and the film's title appears. However, it ends before the final credits roll.
