Shawn Levy's Deadpool & Wolverine is the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, featuring two of the most famous comic characters. The friendly duo hit the big screen earlier this year, and now we have a date for the movie's OTT release.
As updates came in on upcoming Marvel series like Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, and Eyes On Wakanda, the excitement among fans has peaked. Adding fuel to the fire, Marvel Entertainment has confirmed that viewers can stream Deadpool & Wolverine on Disney Plus Hotstar from November 12, 2024.
The film has already earned about $1.3 billion globally and received the tag of the highest-grossing R-rated movie ever. Considering a dip in box office numbers of some of the latest Marvel movies, Deadpool & Wolverine is a much-awaited hit.
The story revolves around how the Time Variance Authority intervenes in Deadpool's (Wade Wilson) life and forces him to face a multiversal threat. Left with no choice, Deadpool teams up with his frenemy, a well-known X-Men mutant, Wolverine, to tackle the common enemies.

Deadpool & Wolverine was released digitally on October 1, 2024, and Sony Pictures Entertainment made it available on Ultra HD Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray, and DVD on October 22.
However, the latest update confirmed that the movie will reach Disney Plus Hotstar on November 12. With a Disney+ subscription, viewers can enjoy Marvel's latest rendition. The movie can also be rented on other OTT platforms like Apple TV, Vudu, and Amazon Prime.
Currently, you can rent movies on Amazon Prime for $24.99. Monthly packs cost $14.9, and yearly packs cost around $139.00. For Disney+, the subscription starts from $9.99/month with ads and $15.99/month without ads.
However, on Vudu, there is no subscription amount. The movies of your choice can be rented or bought, and ads are supported. The price ranges from $19.99 for buying and $5.99 for renting when the films are first released. But it can go as high as $24.99 or $19.99 for movies currently playing in theatres.
A comedy-studded action piece with some of the best surprise appearances
We all know how famous Marvel is when it comes to cameos and easter eggs. So, Deadpool & Wolverine is no exception, as we reportedly see a number of surprise appearances from Blake Lively to Captain America star Chris Evans.
Some include Chris Evans as Johnny Storm (Human Torch), Blade (the vampire hunter), and Elektra. A scene in the movie reveals several Deadpool variants in similar costumes, one of which features Gossip Girl star and Ryan Reynolds' wife, Blake Lively, as Ladypool.
The movie is filled with intense action sequences with brief moments of comic relief in between—something we always expect when Deadpool is on the big screen. As Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and his friend Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) embark on their journey to protect the multiverse while facing numerous threats, they encounter the titular antagonist, Cassandra Nova (played by Emma Corin).
Nova is the twin sister of Professor Charles Xavier, the famous X-Men personality. She has been portrayed as an extremely powerful and dangerous character who almost defeats Deadpool and Wolverine.
