The Deacon Blue 2025 UK tour is set to be held from March 30, 2025, to October 11, 2025, in venues across England, Scotland, and Wales. There will also be a few shows in Ireland. The tour is split into two parts, as explained by the band's official announcement on November 27, 2024:
"Dear fellow travellers, In the past, we've done every kind of live event. You've stood and sat, stayed quiet when we needed that and sang along when we all needed that too. In 2025 we've decided to do two different kind of events. In March and April we'll host five gigs in a select group of favourite theatres where we hope to play a lot of our new album-"
The statement continues,
"-, and curate a show which will throw some light on some older album cuts that you may not hear in the September tour. Its not the show for everyone but it will be aimed at fans who have been asking us to do something like this for as long as we can remember. Either way, on any given night, we plan to give you the best night of your life. Ricky Ross x."
Presale for the tour will begin on November 28, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Interested patrons will need to pre-order Deacon Blue's upcoming album, The Great Western Road. The album is available for pre-order from Deacon Blue's official website.
The album is priced at £32 for the White Marble Vinyl and Limited Edition Blue Cassette (with signed print) bundle. The White Marble Vinyl and CD (with signed print) at £34 The White Marble and Black Vinyl bundle is priced at £45.
The CD, Limited Edition Blue Cassette & T-Shirt (with Signed Print) bundle is priced at £39, White Marble Vinyl & T-Shirt (with Signed Print) bundle is priced at £45, Complete Bundle (with Signed Print) is priced at £85.
The White Marble vinyl is priced at £25, the Black vinyl is priced at £23 the CD is priced at £11, and the limited edition casette is priced at £8. The general sale will follow on November 29, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. and will also be available on the website.
