Dance Gavin Dance tour: Presale Code, dates, venues & all you need to know

Dance Gavin Dance tour is scheduled to be held from May 23, 2025, to June 29, 2025, in venues across the mainland United States. Titled the RETURN OF THE ROBOT tour, the band will be supported by The Home Team, See You Space Cowboy, and Dwellings during its 26-day schedule.

Presale for the RETURN OF THE ROBOT tour is currently ongoing. Ongoing presales include an artist presale, a Citibank Cardholder presale, and a VIP package presale.

A Live Nation presale will be available from January 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time and will be accessible with the code OCTAVE. General tickets will be released on January 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Dance Gavin Dance released their latest studio album, Jackpot Juicer, on July 29, 2022. Vocalist Tilian Pearson, who left Dance Gavin Dance in 2024, talked about the album back then in an exclusive interview with Alternative Press on January 25, 2022, stating:

"It’s been mostly highs. We spent more time doing it, and we were in a really good environment. Jon, Andrew [Wells, vocalist of Eidola] and I rented an Airbnb and just chilled — probably for over a month for me and Jon. Because of that, we didn’t take any more time on any songs — we just wrote more."

The singer continued:

"It was mostly a positive experience the whole time. Jon and I collaborated more than we usually do, and that was nice. Andrew and I, too — he’s on this album a lot."

Pearson later later talked about the album's composition and thematic components, stating:

"I think so. It’s definitely not as left field as Afterburner — there are no songs in Spanish or anything. It’s a bit bigger-sounding than usual for us. It sounds a little more like our live set than the clarity of Mothership, where you can hear every single note the guitar is playing."

He continued:

"There’s a little bit more of a togetherness to the sound. And because we had the most time to work on it, it’s our longest album — I can reveal that."

Dance Gavin Dance is best known for their ninth studio album, Afterburner, released on April 24, 2020. It was the band's first album to chart well outside of the US.
