More details on the Cross Canadian Ragweed 2025 Reunion show
The Cross Canadian Ragweed 2025 Reunion show is titled The Boys From Oklahoma Show. Speaking about the reunion, the Cross Canadian Ragweed frontman Cody Canada stated:
"The thing that sticks out the most to me about Ragweed was all the people that we met. People that I’m still friends with, from Portland, Oregon, to Ybor City, Florida, and from New York to San Diego. That’s why there’s a part of me that never wants to quit doing this."
The singer continued:
"I’m nostalgic for that. I think that everybody should have a little nostalgia in their life. So, let’s get together, and let’s make sure that we sound really good, and let’s make people smile. Let’s make ourselves smile, and let’s make McClure and Jason and Stoney and the Turnpike boys smile too."
Cross Canadian Ragweed co-founder Randy Ragsdale also elaborated on the tour in a Rolling Stone article published on October 1, 2024:
"Stillwater represents a beginning — for me, personally, and for the band. It’s like that for most people that go there. That’s where they start their life. It’s one of the first places we got going, and I think it’s also bigger than just our band."
The band member continued:
"The whole damn movement got going there. I don’t want to sound cheesy, but it’s kind of like the motherland. I cannot think of a better place to get it going again, to bury the hatchet, to try to do this the right way, and just start over."
