Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy is the latest entry in the popular Bridget Jones franchise, directed by Michael Morris. The romantic comedy film is a sequel to the 2016 film Bridget Jones's Baby, and it's an adaptation of the namesake 2013 novel that Helen Fielding wrote.

Renée Zellweger is reprising the titular character for the fourth time in a row. Over the course of the franchise, the character has gone through many changes in her life. Zellweger is known for her role in films like Jerry Maguire and Nurse Betty, among others.

2) Colin Firth as Mark Darcy

English actor Colin Firth is reprising his role as Mark Darcy. While the character dies four years before the latest movie, he has made a comeback in this film but only in the beginning. Initially, Darcy is one of the two guys fighting for Jones's attention. She eventually chooses him over the other.
