Beyoncé representative dismissed 2025 tour speculations

The announcement of the new album art book comes just sometime after speculation surrounding a 2025 tour by the singer was dismissed by her longtime representative Yvette Noel-Schure. Schure responded to an X post by Pop Tingz which suggested that the singer was gearing up for a tour by stating that it was untrue and only official news sources would have such information:

The speculation surrounding a new tour by the singer started after it was announced that she would be bringing her new music from Cowboy Carter to the NFL Halftime Christmas show at the Houston Texans vs Baltimore Ravens match, which will be held and broadcast live on December 25, 2024.

More on Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album

Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album is the singer's eighth studio album, and the first one since 2022's Renaissance. The album is also the singer's first country studio album.

The singer elaborated on the album in an exclusive interview with GQ on September 10, 2024, stating:

"I wanted everyone to take a minute to research on the word cowboy. History is often told by the victors. And American history? It’s been rewritten endlessly. Up to a quarter of all cowboys were Black. These men faced a world that refused to see them as equal, yet they were the backbone of the cattle industry."

Beyoncé continued:

"The cowboy is a symbol of strength and aspiration in America. The cowboy was named after slaves who handled the cows. The word cowboy comes from those who were called boys, never given the respect they deserved. No one would dare call a Black man handling cows “Mister” or “Sir”. We all deserve respect, especially when we give it."

Beyoncé later talked about her choice of not having any visuals for the album, saying:

"I thought it was important that during a time where all we see is visuals, that the world can focus on the voice. The music is so rich in history and instrumentation. It takes months to digest, research, and understand. The music needed space to breathe on its own."

She continued:

"Sometimes a visual can be a distraction from the quality of the voice and the music. The years of hard work and detail put into an album that takes over four years! The music is enough. The fans from all over the world became the visual. We all got the visual on tour. We then got more visuals from my film."

Beyoncé's new album consists of a total of 27 tracks leading to a length of 78:21 minutes and seconds. The album features artists such as Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, and Willie Jones, among others.
