Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick's upcoming dark comedy Another Simple Favor will release on Amazon Prime Video, on 1st May, 2025.

Directed by Paul Feig, who has previously directed films and episodes of TV series including I Am David (2003), Bridesmaids (2011), The Heat (2013), Ghostbusters (2016), The Office (2005-2011), to name a few, is coming with Another Simple Favor.

The film is a continuation of the 2018 film A Simple Favor, also directed by Paul Feig. Another Simple Favor follows the plot of Emily, who has recently gotten out of jail and is set to marry a wealthy Italian man. She approaches Stephanie to become a part of her lavish wedding, located at the beautiful Capri, Italy.

However, this is not a simple, joyous wedding as one would expect, as murders take place in the event. Is this a part of Emily's plan to get back to Stephanie?

A Simple Favor follows the plot of Stephanie, an influencer who makes content related to motherhood. She is a single mother, as well as widowed. However, upon her friend Emily going missing, Stephanie probes into finding the truth behind her disappearance.

It all began when Emily asked Stephanie to collect her child from school, to which she agreed. But Emily does not come back. Stephanie and Emily's husband Sean come to know that Emily has passed away, and they mourn her death. With time, Sean and Stephanie grow close.

But surprise! Emily is not dead. As truth is more than what meets the eye, Stephanie slowly uncovers dark truths about who Emily is.

She discovers that Emily has been living under an alias, and she has been responsible for the death of her vicious father and her sister. With the help of Stephanie, Emily gets arrested.

In the whole set of events, Stephanie rediscovers herself and branches into a sharp detective. She has been solving numerous cases since then.

However, in its sequel Another Simple Favor, we witness Emily making a grand return into the life of Stephanie again. She is also set to marry a new man, and everything makes Emily feel highly suspicious and concerned.

Even though not many details have been uncovered about the plot yet, but going by the teaser trailer, we do witness murders taking place at the lavish event.

The burning question lingering throughout is, has Emily returned to seek vengeance against Stephanie? Or has she emerged into a better person? If we go by the latter, then who is committing the crime?
