Adapted from Chuck Dixon's Levon's Trade, A Working Man portrays the dramatic story of an ex-military operative, Levon Cade (played by Jason Statham), who now works in construction. However, things go sideways when a gang of human traffickers kidnaps his boss' daughter, Jenny (Arianna Rivas).

Levon's closeness to his boss prompts him to get involved in the whole situation. Using his skill set as a soldier, Levon goes on a risky solo mission to rescue Jenny. While doing so, he finds himself in the middle of a large-scale conspiracy involving corrupt government officials.

A Working Man sets up the perfect atmosphere for an action thriller, especially with a star like Jason Statham (known from The Transporter, The Fast & Furious franchise, and several Guy Ritchie movies) gracing the big screen with his moves. However, drama is also a key element that will drive the plot of the movie, so, viewers will supposedly get an emotional glimpse of Levon and Jenny's thrilling journey.
