A Working Man is a Jason Statham-starrer action thriller film that was released on March 28, 2025. This is his second collaboration with director David Ayer, after The Beekeeper.

The official synopsis of this actioner reads,

"Levon Cade left his profession behind to work construction and be a good dad to his daughter. But when a local girl vanishes, he's asked to return to the skills that made him a mythic figure in the shadowy world of counter-terrorism."

The film was released on March 28, 2025, by Amazon MGM Studios. There has been reportedly some excitement around its post-credit scene. Turns out the film doesn't have one.

Is there a post-credit scene in A Working Man?

No, A Working Man doesn't have a post-credit sequence. The film ends on a definitive note, and the credit scene is not interrupted by anything. While people might be curious to sit through the end to look for something, there is no hint put out by the makers in a post-credit scene.

While there is no hint of a sequel, the ending of A Working Man lays the groundwork for a possible future installment. The character of Levon Cade, who was a former Royal Marines commando turned construction worker, can return in the future. Levon ends up saving Jenny. However, Symon is planning to seek revenge on him for k*lling all his sons.

David Ayer has written A Working Man with Sylvester Stallone; the two have adapted it from Levon's Trade which is a 2014 novel penned by Chuck Dixon. The producers of the film include Stallone, Ayer, Chris Long, Jason Statham, Bill Block, John Friedberg and Kevin King Templeton.

A Working Man revolves around Levon Cade, who is forced to become his past shelf after the teenage daughter of his boss gets kidnapped. Besides Statham, the cast members of the film include,

  • David Harbour as Gunny Lefferty
  • Michael Peña as Joe Garcia
  • Jason Flemyng as Wolo Kolisnyk
  • Arianna Rivas as Jenny Garcia
  • Emmett J. Scanlan as Viper
  • Noemi Gonzalez as Carla Garcia
  • Eve Mauro as Artemis
  • Maximilian Osinski as Dimi Kolisnyk
  • Kristina Poli as Svetlana Kolisnyk
  • Max Croes as Karp

In an interview with Collider, David Ayer was asked if he worked with Statham because of their earlier collaboration. He said,

"I was really looking for another collaboration with him. I got [Sylvester] Stallone's script, and it's an action script by an action icon. Stallone is part of cinematic history, and so it was really intriguing. Then, the idea that I could take this script, add my layer, and really lead into the family component, it's what I saw with Jason in Beekeeper. He's a really good actor, and when he has the opportunity to really connect with another actor in a scene, it's magic. So, I wanted to build a film around him where we could see him smile, where you can see him be part of the family, where we can see him be a dad. The bet was that if we see him in those spaces and can really feel that, it'll make the action even more poignant and more powerful."
