A Working Man: Amazon MGM drops a new trailer featuring Jason Statham in a tense development

A Working Man marks the second collaboration between Jason Statham and director David Ayer. This upcoming action thriller film is helmed by Ayer, who has also written it with Sylvester Stallone. The two have adapted the story from Levon's Trade, which is a 2014 Chuck Dixon novel.

Here's the official synopsis:

Levon Cade left his profession behind to work construction and be a good dad to his daughter. But when a local girl vanishes, he's asked to return to the skills that made him a mythic figure in the shadowy world of counter-terrorism.

The film will be released by Amazon MGM Studios and Metro-Goldwyn Mayer on March 28, 2025. Ahead of its big release, the makers have dropped a new official trailer for the film.

Amazon MGM releases new trailer of A Working Man

Amazon MGM has released a red band trailer of their forthcoming action thriller film A Working Man. The trailer runs for one minute and 56 seconds and opens with Levon Cade, the protagonist, watching over a man from a distance as he attacks a woman.

Later, we see Cade beating the man for slapping the woman. Later, we find out that 19 girls have been kidnapped, and Cade asks the man about one of the girls. The trailer then showcases some adrenaline-filled moments of action from the film as gunshots and fight sequences fill the screen.

A Working Man is produced by David Ayer, Jason Statham, Chris Long, Sylvester Stallone, Bill Block, and John Friedberg. It revolves around a former Royal Marine commando who is working as a construction guy. However, the teenage daughter of his boss is kidnapped, and he is forced to go the old way to find her. Slowly, he realizes that the kidnapping is linked to human trafficking.

Statham and Ayer had earlier worked on the 2024 action thriller The Beekeeper, which was a commercial success, grossing over $150 million. In January 2025, Ayer responded to a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), where he defended the film and praised Statham's performance. He wrote,

“I’m incredibly proud of this film. It has a lot of heart. Jason really stepped up as a performer. There is the right mix of gravitas and fun. And the action is amazing. I think there is a winning formula. Jason delivers. I really enjoy working with him.”
