5 Motorsport movies you must watch before F1 hits theatres, ranked

F1 is one of the most awaited Hollywood films of 2025. The sports action drama is helmed by Joseph Kosinski while Ethren Kurger is the writer. It stars Brad Pitt as a former Formula One driver who was forced to retire after an accident. He is offered to help a young driver for a tournament.

Ford v Ferrari is the directorial work of James Mangold and stars Matt Damon and Christian Bale. The only animated film in this list, Cars is an exciting film from Pixar that follows several vehicles that are anthropomorphic. It revolves around Bobby who is a successful driver but has an immature attitude towards life. It was released on August 4, 2006, and turned out to be a success. It had its world premiere at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and was released theatrically on August 25, 2023. The film became a critical and commercial success.
