The Multiverse Saga has already given us a lot to ponder, and Avengers: Doomsday might bring out some of our imagination to fruition. But we can only know when it will be released. Many theories are building upon the surface, but most will likely be scattered when Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., rises from beneath.

Now, Russo Brothers have also given the fans something to ponder over after they confirmed that RDJ's Tony Stark is connected to Doctor Doom. This was a second happiness bomb for fans. The first was when Downey unmasked his identity at the Comic Con for his other MCU role.

So they have some connection between them, which means Downey's MCU past ghosts should be there. From Spider-Man to Scarlet Witch, they are a safe bet for the next big thing in the MCU, and they will just give more strength to this connection between Stark and Victor Von Doom.

Which characters need to appear in Avengers: Doomsday to establish this connection?

1. Peter Parker

There should be a scene in Avengers: Doomsday where Peter Parker is going through his "everywhere I go, I see his face" phase, and he sees Doctor Doom. And then he realizes it's really him. He needs to realize this himself, because who will tell him now that everyone has forgotten him after that magic spell? Well, Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange might know; after all, he was the one casting the spell.

2. Doctor Strange

Talking about Strange, he is our next prospect to appear in Avengers: Doomsday. He already had a strained relationship with Tony, but he must know who this variant is. After all, again, he is the Sorcerer Supreme. That said, he could be the key to alerting others that he is not Tony if Downey's new characters pretend that, as many fans think. But there are theories that Doom will be there to prevent incursions, and Strange is no stranger to that phenomenon. They could be allies.

3. Scarlet Witch

Maybe she doesn't know the story of Doctor Doom, but she knows the man's mind. She may have joined the Avengers, but we all know she literally peeked inside Tony's mind in Age of Ultron. Think about it, if Tony and Doom are connected, they ought to have a similar personality and thinking processes. All we know is that we never saw a soft conversation between Wanda and Tony, and we shouldn't expect one between her and Doctor Doom.

4. Captain America

Tony Stark is at the heart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he cannot pump and give life to this universe without his belligerent bestie, Steve Rogers. Without Captain America, there's no Iron Man in this cinematic universe. But there can be a twist, for Chris Evans may not exactly be Captain America in Avengers: Doomsday. Some theories suggest he will return as an evil variant called Captain Hydra.

5. Loki

This could be the most interesting reunion, as Loki is literally at the heart of the multiverse; the God of Mischief became the God of Stories by the end of Loki season two. Imagine it, Tom Hiddleston's character was a villain, and Downey saved the day for the New Yorkers. Now it can play the other way around in Avengers: Doomsday if he returns as Avenger Prime and saves the day for every living being in the universe.
