Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs, provided an input that infused the movie with the much-needed creepy energy. In order to cleverly portray the predator-like tendencies of his character, Hopkins took it upon himself to be creative and come up with eerie, hissing-like noises that make the audience’s toes curl. It is because of this addition of his, that his character today is considered such a masterpiece.
